At the You Got This, Kik! Leadership Foundation (“YGTK!) we believe leadership is learned—and that the next generation of leaders can thrive when given the right tools, support, and encouragement. That spirit was on full display at Quinnipiac University’s third annual Graduate Student Symposium, where our founder Chuck Saia and YGTK! Board member Olamide Gbotosho ’21 took the stage together.

In a dynamic conversation led by Dean Holly Raider, Olamide, once a YGTK! Intern and now a successful professional at KPMG, shared her journey of growth and mentorship—showing exactly what YGTK! is all about: creating pathways for young leaders to step into their potential.

As Quinnipiac’s Chair of the Board of Trustees and co-founder of YGTK!, Chuck inspired students with lessons from his book, You Got This, Kid! Words of Advice for Young Leaders, and his personal experience in all aspects. His message was clear: success isn’t built on technical skills alone, but on empathy, communication, adaptability, and resilience.

Together, Chuck and Olamide emphasized the importance of mentorship, community, and leading with heart—values that are central to YGTK!’s mission. Events like this are a reminder of why we do what we do.
